Why Use IPv6 Proxies for Web Scraping?
IPv6 proxy pools give you thousands of addresses from a single block — more rotation, lower cost per IP, and better throughput than IPv4 proxies.
Low-Latency Datacenter Network
Low-latency IPv6 proxy connections through our global datacenter network. Optimized for web scraping and large-scale data collection.
Rotating, Sticky & Dedicated IPv6 Proxies
Rotating on every request for anonymity, a sticky window up to 24 hours when a session needs the same IP, or a dedicated long-lived address you pick from the pool.
Per-User Proxy Authentication
Every user gets unique IPv6 proxy credentials. Bandwidth tracking and usage limits are built in.
What You Can Do With IPv6 Proxies
An IPv6 proxy is a general-purpose network exit — websites, APIs and raw TCP services alike.
Web scraping at scale
Spread thousands of requests across 1.2M IPv6 addresses to stay ahead of per-IP rate limits.
SEO & SERP rank tracking
Track Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo rankings from different regions, with a fresh IPv6 address per query.
Ad verification
See the ads and landing pages real visitors get in each region — not the ones your office IP sees.
Price & inventory monitoring
Poll competitor catalogs on a schedule without tripping per-IP throttles.
Market research
Aggregate listings, catalogs and public API data across regions at scale.
Social media automation
Run scheduled jobs across accounts, with static IPv6 proxies when a session needs a stable address.
Sneaker & ticket bot monitoring
Fire many parallel checks at drop time from IPv6 addresses that have not been burned.
Network & admin tasks
Tunnel RDP, SSH, SFTP and WHOIS over a SOCKS5 IPv6 proxy — IPv6 carries any TCP or UDP service.
IPv6 Proxy Compatibility — What Works Through the Network
IPv6 isn't a separate internet — it's the same web. Here's how popular destinations behave through a datacenter IPv6 proxy pool.
Test any website
Enter a URL to find out whether it can be reached over IPv6 at all. A site is only reachable over IPv6 when it publishes AAAA records — without them, no IPv6 proxy can reach it, no matter what else is configured.
Google Search
Reachable over IPv6 and results load normally. Google serves consent screens or a reCAPTCHA to some datacenter ranges — rotate, keep request rates polite, and it works.
Bing
IPv6-ready end to end and noticeably more tolerant of datacenter ranges than Google.
DuckDuckGo
Light bot protection and full IPv6 support — a solid choice for SERP rank tracking.
YouTube
IPv6-enabled end to end. Search, metadata and page loads all work.
Instagram
Public profiles, posts and the web app load over IPv6. Account-based automation still hits normal anti-bot checks.
Reddit
Fully IPv6-reachable, including old.reddit.com, the JSON endpoints and the public API.
Amazon
Search, product and catalog pages load over IPv6. Occasional CAPTCHA on aggressive request patterns.
WHOIS lookups (port 43)
Not recommendedSOCKS5 · 43The legacy WHOIS protocol does not work reliably here — most WHOIS servers are still IPv4-only and block datacenter ranges outright. Use RDAP instead, which does work.
X (Twitter) & TikTok
LimitedPages load, but account-based anti-bot checks and phone verification make automation unreliable on datacenter ranges.
Netflix, Disney+ & Prime Video
Not recommendedStreaming CDNs block datacenter ranges, and geo/device checks go far beyond the IP address.
Banks & payment processors
Not recommendedFinancial sites reject datacenter and VPN-style traffic. Use your own connection for banking.
Ticket & sneaker drops
LimitedQueue systems usually demand residential or ISP addresses; datacenter IPv6 gets flagged quickly.
SMTP & IMAP
LimitedSOCKS5 · 587 / 993Mail servers commonly reject datacenter ranges through DNSBL and PBL lists, even when IPv6 routes exist.
All other websites
Varies by siteAnything not listed above comes down to one question: does the site publish AAAA records? If it does, it is usually reachable. If it does not, no IPv6 proxy can reach it. Reputation-sensitive sites still need residential or ISP addresses — rotation solves rate limits, not trust.
The destination has to speak IPv6
A proxy can only reach a site over IPv6 when that site publishes AAAA records. Coverage is near-universal on major platforms and patchier on older infrastructure — use the tester above to check any specific site.
Reputation still matters
Datacenter ranges — IPv4 or IPv6 — get rate-limited by anti-bot systems. Rotation and polite request rates help, but banking, streaming and some ticketing stay out of scope.
More than just websites
With SOCKS5 the proxy is protocol-agnostic: RDP, SSH, RDAP, databases and mail all tunnel through the same per-user credentials.
IPv6 Proxy Features
Everything you need to run IPv6 proxies in production, without extra tooling.
1.2M IPv6 Addresses per User
A full /48 IPv6 pool per user with individual address assignment — no shared, recycled IPs.
Real-Time Bandwidth Tracking
Live IPv6 proxy usage monitoring per user, so you always know what you have spent.
HTTP & SOCKS5 Proxies
Connect over an HTTP proxy or a SOCKS5 IPv6 proxy with per-user authentication on both.
Global IPv6 Proxy Regions
Multiple datacenter regions available. Pick the IPv6 proxy location closest to your targets.
IPv6 Proxy Locations

Fair Questions
Straight answers about IPv6 proxy pricing, bandwidth metering and billing — no small print.
What is an IPv6 proxy?
An IPv6 proxy routes your traffic through an IPv6 address instead of an IPv4 one. Every APIRaven user gets access to 1.2M IPv6 addresses across our global datacenter network — so each request can exit from a different IPv6 proxy IP without swapping endpoints or reconnecting.
How many IPv6 proxy IPs do I get?
Access to 1.2M IPv6 addresses across every region. Rotate through all of them automatically, or pin a single address when a session needs a stable exit.
Can I get a static IPv6 proxy or sticky session?
Yes — every proxy is created in one of three egress modes. Rotating gives you a fresh IP per connection. Sticky keeps the same IP for a window you choose, from 1 minute up to 24 hours. Dedicated (static) is a long-lived IP you pick from the pool — up to 5 dedicated IPs per account. Choose the mode when you order.
Do you support SOCKS5 and HTTP proxies?
Both. Connect over HTTP on port 9281 or SOCKS5 on port 9283 using the same per-user credentials. SOCKS5 carries any TCP service, including SSH, RDP, SFTP, WHOIS and database connections.
How is bandwidth counted?
Request and response bytes are metered per proxy user in real time. Your dashboard shows usage per user, so even a shared account keeps per-project visibility into what each pipeline is burning.
How does IPv6 proxy pricing work?
Pricing is per GB of bandwidth, starting at $0.90/TB. There are no monthly plans and no per-IP fees — buy any amount of bandwidth and it is deducted from your account balance.
What happens when my bandwidth runs out?
Traffic stops. There is no surprise invoice and no overage fee — top up bandwidth whenever you like and the same credentials keep working.
Are IPv6 proxies better than IPv4 proxies for web scraping?
For scraping, IPv6 is usually the better fit. With access to 1.2M addresses, per-request rotation is effectively free and you avoid the per-IP rate limits that burn through small IPv4 pools. IPv4 remains the safer choice for destinations that have not enabled IPv6 — see the compatibility table above.
Do IPv6 proxies work with Google, social media and sneaker sites?
Most large destinations are IPv6-enabled, including Google, Bing, YouTube, GitHub and DuckDuckGo. Some still run bot checks against datacenter ranges, so keep request rates modest and rotate addresses. The compatibility table above lists per-site notes.
Can I use IPv6 proxies with Python, Node.js or cURL?
Yes. Any client that supports HTTP or SOCKS5 proxies works. Copy-paste snippets for cURL, Python requests and Node.js undici are in the Quick Start section below and in your dashboard.
